Senior Human Resources Assistant

A committed well established hospital North of Savannah and South of Augusta is looking for a full time, permanent Histotechnologist to hire. Great opportunity to join a 140 bed facility with a friendly and inviting team of professionals to advance your career.

Histotechnologist Opportunity:

Histotechnologist will accurately orients tissue in paraffin blocks, produces high quality slides using a microtome, and perform special stains as required

Histotechnologist will enter surgical specimen data into the laboratory computer system

Histotechnologist will perform cytoprepatory duties as needed and monitors instrumentation for daily quality control and preventative maintenance.

Histotechnologist Qualifications:

Completion of a formal training program in Histotechnology required

Registered Histotechnologist licensure

ASCP, AMT, HEW, or CLS required
