Senior Director Engineering

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Take responsibility for the part of the Engineering organization that is responsible for the development of the Camunda 8 core application components.
• Manage, and supervise key projects which improve the quality and velocity of our core application delivery, and maintenance via organizational or architectural enhancements.
• As a manager of managers, promote the continuous development or engineering talent to ensure readiness for future challenges.
• Manage a growing part of the Engineering organization as Manager of Managers.
• This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Please note that a part of the organization is based in Europe and an overlap of 3 hours in working hours is often required for collaboration.
  

What You’ll Bring:

• Ability and/or willingness to use our product
• Experience as Director or Senior Director including experience as Manager of Managers.
• Strong technical understanding in Java-based Software Development with a focus on process orchestration, microservice orchestration, workflow engine, enterprise application integration or similar.
• Proven track record in evolving Product Engineering Governance (organization, and processes) to support Product growth and the evolving Product System Architecture.
• You thrive in taking ownership of the architectures, as well as how you and your teams deploy and operate software. You are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset.

Compensation

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

• United States: $231,300.00 to $347,000.00
• Germany: €153,800.00 to €230,700.00
• United Kingdom: £149,900.00 to £224,800.00
• Singapore: S$287,300.00 to S$430,900.00
