- Design, specify, configure, and install analog and digital security systems, applications, and controls.
- Maintain and upgrade existing analog and digital security systems as needed.
- Examine systems to locate problems such as loose connections or broken insulation.
- Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to security systems, applications, and controls.
- Inspects installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
