JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a self-driven, career-minded, high energy, experienced professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills to join an expanding client-centric focused service team. Experience servicing the not for profit industry is required.

Hybrid work environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform and lead financial statement audits, reviews and compilations of not for profit entities.

• Perform and lead Uniform Guidance audits

• Preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures

• Preparation and review of Form 990 return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax

• Develop testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls.

• Recommend corrective action and offer improvements.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through ongoing communication and best-in-class service.

• Team member maintaining a system of quality control policies & procedures for the firm.

• Supervise staff during fieldwork, provide guidance.

• Provide staff training and mentorship.

• Project management experience, ability to see projects through to completion.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with CPA certification

• 7+ years of recent public accounting and auditing experience

Skills:

• Experience using Prosystem Engagement, PPC Smart Tools, ProSystem Fx Tax, QuickBooks, a plus.

• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel skills required.

• Customer centric approach, strong interpersonal, analytical skills.

• Research, oriented problem solver.

• Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills

• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, managing priorities and deadlines.
