Position Summary

As a Sales & Business Development Lead - Kenya, your key role will be to establish the Beem brand and have a large network of relationships to open doors at enterprise customers in Kenya across different target You will work with the management team to refine the Go To Market plan and the marketing team to refine their marketing You will be responsible for selling of sms, two way sms, ussd, airtime, chat and other enterprise mobile ;

You should have experience managing a sales pipeline in a technology service/product oriented business and driving sales to conversion whilst exceeding You should have strong leadership skills, be an excellent communicator and have a thorough understanding of the sales process, understand different customer segments and positioning for each segment, have a strong commercial focus and sharp business acumen to achieve


Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective clients and be able to understand the persona/buyers journey and value proposition

  • Refine Go To Market plan to launch Beem in Kenya and reach objectives based on OKRs

  • Monitor market and competitor activity and refine the go to market strategy

  • Work with internal teams to execute the go to market plan and Handle any operational issues if they

  • Work with the marketing and product teams to tailor campaigns, communications and product development to drive lead generation, sales and growth

  • Identifying new partnership opportunities to increase lead generation and brand awareness

  • Should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy

  • Lead, subordinate sales team

  • Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with many priorities, to effectively manage time and prioritize

  • Developing complete proposals for large enterprise customers

  • Understand pricing models and develop client appropriate pricing

  • Use internal tools and systems such as the CRM to streamline processes and reporting

  • Providing management with feedback and progress reports




Requirements

This position is for you if you:

  • Have at least 3 years prior industry related business development and/or sales experience

  • Have at least 3+ years of experience managing a team

  • Have a strong commercial focus and business acumen

  • Have a Bachelors degree or equivalent degree in the Management field would be preferred, but not ;

  • Possess exceptional communication and listening skills, which demonstrate techniques in persuasion, selling, negotiation, objection handling and customer

  • Have strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning

  • Have proven time management and organizational skills and ability to be self-directed

  • Can be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually

  • Have experience and proven track record of closing opportunities

  • Are driven to take initiatives, with a sense of urgency to achieve results with and through people

  • Are patient, curious, detail oriented and eager to solve problems

  • Possess the ability to absorb and retain information quickly

  • Can travel to attend international conferences on behalf of the company
