The main responsibility is to manage the total sales efforts within the hotels to generate proactively revenue. The basic guideline to do this is the hotels Marketing Plan as well as the Business Plan. He maintains develops and recognizes Key Accounts/Prospects in Aqaba as well as Amman. He maintains on a regular basis the contacts to the local and international Travel Trade and is involved with all the agreements/contracts the hotel has with major Key Accounts/Tour Operators etc. He is aware of the market trends from all the existing and potential feeders.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets within rooms (Market mix avg. room rate YIELD and Occupancy)
  • Organization and monitoring of all administrative affairs within the Sales Office
  • Cooperation with hotels Rooms Division F&B Conference/Seminar Banquet/Catering department
  • Coordination with Area Sales Office
  • Close contacts to Corporate Accounts and Travel Trade
  • The following duties within frame of work:
    • Sales
    • Administration
    • Finance
    • Contracting
    • General

Qualifications

  • You have experience in service sector which is relevant for our business (e.g. retail hotel industry catering hospitality or service division)
  • You distinguish yourself through your serviceoriented way of thinking and value work that has direct customer contact
  • Ideally you have already worked as a customer service representative service agent or sales consultant and are an expert in customer support
  • You have a confident demeanour and are not only salesoriented but perhaps even a charming sales talent
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Willing to work on a shift rota basis to cover branch opening hours
  • You have excellent English skills which allows you to be a brilliant communicator
