- Lead an innovative research group whose portfolio is centred on ecological analysis, synthesis, and solutions leveraging off complex experimental, survey, and monitoring data;
- Develop innovative research methods and computational tools applicable to studies of macroecology, biodiversity, theoretical ecology, or climate change.
- Lead and contribute to (i) quality scientific papers, (ii) the design of research and monitoring projects, and (iii) oral presentations.
- Supervise and train graduate students, early career researchers (ECR), and senior colleagues as part of this research portfolio in quantitative ecology.
- Training and mentoring postdoctoral and student researchers and research support staff.
- Supporting visiting researchers from external partners and collaborators.
- Writing reports and articles for dissemination and publication.
- Contributing to the organisation and delivery of workshops, and publicity and open-house events.
