Project Control Specialist

Job description

The Project Control Specialist will be responsible for financial budgeting of projects, monitoring all phases (start to end) of the projects to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline goals. He/she analyzes deviations and acts as a business and financial advisor to the project leaders.

A day in your life with us:

• Understanding business & expansion requirements and translate them into accurate and timely reports.
• Providing integrated, timely, flexible and relevant financial/ non financial information and analysis related to expansion.
• Design and implementation of planning, controlling and reporting systems.
• Analysis, improvement and alignment of processes for budgeting and accounting.
• Create insight in project costs and performance.
• Perform variance analysis, reviewing and challenging reported actual and forecasts.
• Coordinate detailed project budget, forecasts and cost/benefit follow up against business case.
• Contribute to projects to develop financial budget follow-up and reporting.
• Recommending necessary actions to improve projects and mitigate risks.

Qualification

• BSc or MSc in Accounting or Finance
• Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
• Decision-making, problem-solving, analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc.)
