- Performs varied professional accounting or financial work requiring the standardized application of well-established principles, theories, concepts, and practices. Makes day-to-day decisions concerning the treatment of financial transactions. Is expected to recommend solutions to complex problems and to propose system changes for approval at higher levels.
- Develops sound, practical solutions to a wide range of accounting, financial, tax problems where guidelines are well defined or to problems in one functional area where guidelines are less defined.
- Assignments require regular use of resourcefulness and independent judgment.
