We are currently looking for a Signage Production Manager with wide format, sign production and installation skills who's ready to contribute to a fast-growing, fast-paced company.
• Sign production basics: design theory, typography and color theory.
• Interpret customer requirements to provide consultative input regarding appropriate media/output methods.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Understand facility capabilities to determine "in-house" vs. "outsourced" manufacturing and installation.
• Understand resolution options and optimal enlargement sizes.
• Image sourcing: locate stock photos, understand copyright laws.
• Proofread and inspect jobs for accuracy prior to sending to production.
• Provide proofs to customers as necessary and own responsibility for on-time production.
• Help maintain all equipment: computer, printers, cutter, laminator etc.
• Understand the product details, maintain accurate records and completed jobs
Monitor inventory
• Minimize waste through efficient usage of material
Signage installation
• Plan a production schedule for the job and select the right person or team
• Outsourcing part of the job when necessary with cost comparison
• Selecting, ordering and purchasing required materials in time
• Purchasing production tools when necessary by the approval of MD
• Routine maintenance of production equipment and repair
• Implement and control the production schedule
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
• Re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
• Monitor quality standards of products and check before delivery
• Discuss or inform your manager/MD and client if the timeline delays from the targeted time
• Constantly monitor and report every day on progress of the production & project to MD
• Maintain Client Relationship.
