Position Description

Job Title: Procurement Officer KSA
Reporting Into: Project Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
Location: Riyadh KSA

Job Objective:

Oversee the entire procurement process including contract negotiation vendor selection negotiation of sale price and payment methods and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and supervising employees and all activities of the purchasing department.
  • Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment services and supplies.
  • Following and enforcing the companys procurement policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing comparing analyzing and approving products and services to be purchased.
  • Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualification delivery times product ranges etc.
  • Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
  • Preparing budgets cost analyses and reports.
  • Coordinating with vendors to ensure that they meet all compliance requirements.
  • Review purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurate and conform to company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiating prices on behalf of the company with suppliers or contractors for services or products.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Personal

  • Must be detailoriented to ensure they follow all the necessary steps to complete a procurement.
  • Good communication skills

Technical

  • Good Negotiating skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting business management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Software purchasing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a procurement officer or related position
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel)
