Process Technology Manager

PURPOUSE

Improves the stability the reliability and the output of processes through the development of operative and control technologies management and improvement of the main tools and equipment. Ensures the transfer of results and synergy between the various mills. Develops the part of the process for the production of new products in cooperation with Product Engineering.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Improves the technological performance of all the plants under his/her responsibility in terms of capacity steels products dimensions.

Cooperates in the development of new tools (alternative suppliers different materials and redesign) and improved manufacturing routes/deformation schemes.

Contributes to achieve the objectives of process quality efficiency through process control and the analysis of technological parameters. Cooperates with the managers of the finishing lines and quality dept. for defining acceptance criteria solve criticalities definition of countermeasures (contingency plans and/or corrective actions). Cooperates with involved TS departments in the design and upgrade of process control instruments.

Cooperates with Product Development Dept. for the development of new products (new specifications different dimensional characteristics etc).

Contributes to achieve the objectives of tools consumption and stock in a perspective of standards improving. Takes into consideration energy saving issues when developing phases and process.

Complies with Company policies procedures and management standards and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility. To participate in HSE objectives setting define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance.

Proactively motivates coaches communicates with and develop his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures. Protects from damage theft or misuse the facilities equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
