Roles And Responsibilities

Presales Specialist works closely with SAP sales and after-sales organizations and the SAP ecosystem to define an account strategy focused on target business and IT architectures, facilitate adoption of designed Cloud architectures and help renew and expand SAP's customer footprint.

Account Activity Planning And Architecture Management Responsibilities

• support the assessment of the customer's current SAP solutions and potential areas of opportunity to accelerate adoption and usage of the solutions, as well as expand the SAP footprint.
• contribute to the development of the initial Technical Point of View for customer initiatives.
• advise customers throughout the customer value life cycle; full members of the SAP account team.
• lead the definition of the business and IT architecture to ensure consistency, communication and cooperation between SAP organizations, the customer and partners
• assess requirements and design areas of business, data, application cybersecurity and technical architecture, based on customer needs.
  

Functional Experience

• Experience as an IT architect or enterprise architect
• Subject matter expert in one or more business areas
• Experience in commercial IT application support for business applications and/or IT technologies
• Knowledge of project management skills
  

Recommended Experiences And Certifications

• Work in large IT departments, a consulting firm or with major software vendors as enterprise architects.
• Depending on the LoB, have PMI, Six Sigma or equivalent certification.
• Experience implementing large-scale solutions or developing software products (preferably SAP)
• TOGAF and IEA-10/SAP EAF Framework certified
