Job Title: Deputy /Assistant- Manager
Role: Performance Analyst-Wind Resource
Location: Delhi
Reports To: Manager- Performance & Improvement
Department: Asset operations
Job Overview: -
you have to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and should have good knowledge of wind power plant designing concepts, able to work on software such as WindPRO, WindFarmer, Windographer or CFD based models etc and carry out independent assessment of A.E.P. of Operational wind farms, energy budget preparations for O&M team, lead the PCVT campaign from O&M team, Turbine Power Curve performance assessment as per IEC on regular basis and loss calculations against nonperformance of Wind Turbines.
Responsibilities and Duties: -
To conduct energy yield assessment studies for wind plants independently using simulation software such as WindPRO, WindFarmer, Windographer or CFD based models etc.
To extract measured raw wind data files from Wind mast, I-spin and its processing, data filtration, Long Term Data Correlation- MERRA-2 data and data recreation etc.
Co-ordinate with 3rd Party Vendors and OEM for Power curve Verification test, check the data availability and sensors healthiness etc.
Conduct Post Commissioning energy assessment studies
Prepare generation budget for Operating assets
Independently Analyze turbine performance as per IEC guidelines
Calculate energy losses against non-performing turbines
High level analysis of non-performing turbines. i.e. Power Curve Studies, Pitch Vs Rpm studies, Pitch Vs Wind Speed etc.
Co-ordinate with site team for I-Spin installation and maintenance
Co-ordinate with Vendors for Wind Mast maintenance
Desired Profile & Eligible Criteria: -
Education: B.E./B. Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Environmental/Geo-science
Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience as a WRA expert
Willing to site visit (If required)
Should have good knowledge of IEC standards for Wind Power Curve studies
Experience in data analytic software such as WindPRO, WindFarmer, and Windographer Power BI, Tableu etc
Proficient in Google Earth, MS Word, Excel and Power Point
