• Conduct independent research and experiments in the field of thin film materials, including thin film deposition and photolithography/reactive ion etching.
• Develop and optimize thin film deposition techniques using various methods such as sputtering, thermal evaporation, and electron beam evaporation.
• Design and optimize photolithography processes, including photoresist handling, exposure, development, and lift-off techniques.
• Optimize reactive ion etching processes for controlled and selective etching of thin films and substrates.
