Packing Helper

Job Responsibility: - Assist in the packaging and labeling of products according to specifications provided by the supervisor. - Carry out quality checks on packaging materials to ensure they meet established standards. - Organize and maintain an inventory of packaging supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock levels. - Operate packaging machinery and equipment such as sealers and shrink wrap machines. - Load and unload goods on and off delivery trucks or containers. - Assist in inspecting and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all packaging waste is disposed of properly. - Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times. Skills Candidate Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment. - Basic mathematical skills. - Familiarity with packaging materials and equipment is a plus. - Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as needed
