Qualifications/Requirements: • High School Diploma / GED • Minimum of 24 months of experience in repair of large commercial engines • Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) license • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international air locations of large commercial engines, as required Desired Characteristics: • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively • Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed • Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker • Approach work with a “can-do” attitude and a sense of commitment to both team and customer objectives • Prior internship experience within GE On Wing Support or a GE Engine Services business • Demonstrated knowledge of lean and problem solving • Strong communication skills and problem solving ability are a must • Possess a desire to learn and grow with advances in technology • LEAP, GE90, CFM, CF6, CF34, and GENX experience • Line maintenance, engine changes, module removal & installation, or LRU removals and installations • Demonstrated quality, compliance and customer satisfaction skills • Borescope, Boro blend repair and NDT Experience will be an added advantage.
