Job Description

- Lead, coordinate, and follow up with the MHE team in maintaining the safety, repair, preventive maintenance, functionality and appearance of all MHE equipment, including, but not limited to rolling equipment, charging equipment, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks, pump jacks, mart carts, scrubbers, scissor lifts, aerial lifts, and U Boats.
- Perform initial evaluations of equipment.
- Distribute work assignments by assigning and scheduling work tasks with MHE team members.
- Manage Associate performance, write performance reviews, and provide coaching as well as feedback. As needed, delegate work and follow up with team members to confirm timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure quality operations by investigating accidents and preparing relevant reports.
- Assist with hiring new team members, training new team members, and acting as a mentor to coach and develop new teammates.
- Oversee outside vendors providing equipment and services to ensure optimal uptime for equipment.
- Work with DC leadership to evaluate needs for all scheduled and non-scheduled work requests or special projects.
- Assist with purchasing materials and equipment.
- Partner with DC leadership to coordinate response to unforeseen emergencies.
- Follow 24/7 coverage plans related to building maintenance in the event of an emergency.
