- Knowledge of principles of Rotating Equipment, Seals, Bearings, Vibrations and Lubrication.
- Knowledge and repair of Trouble shooting and repair experience on equipments in Petrochemical plant such as Large Compressors, Pumps, turbines, Gear boxes, Fin fans and Agitators.
- Knowledge on understanding the Engineering and cross-section drawings. • Knowledge of reactors, Boilers, Process Furnace, Heat exchangers, plate exchangers ,coolers ,valves and other process equipments.
- Knowledge of Mixer, Melt pump and Pelleting unit.
- Working practical knowledge on Laser Alignment and other alignment methods, rebuild and troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of process safety principles.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to understand and implement the maintenance procedures
- Understand the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance.
- Take quick and decisive actions in emergencies, equipment failures or any process deviations.
- Be vigilant for any fire and safety hazards in the plant.
