Candidates should be able to evidence their ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and communications with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, work independently, motivate self and fellow team members, work on own initiative, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and have a continuous improvement
Other key elements of the Subcontract Administrator involve:
- Coordinating, managing, and planning subcontract suppliers workloads, paperwork, and work hours
- Liaising with subcontract suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are fulfilled
- Investigate any standard failures/capability
- Liaising with Senior Buyer to ensure key areas of costs are identified and continually improved
- Ensure all FORS documentation is up to date, including attending seminars and workshops as required
- Arranging any necessary purchase orders including requisite drawings
The successful Subcontract Administrator candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a flexible can-do Ideally able to demonstrate:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role and/or industry experience
- Lean tools and techniques
- Product knowledge and ability to read and understand technical drawings to ensure expected specifications are passed on
- Computer Literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness, drive and desire to progress up the management ladder
- Strong people skills
- Strong SHEQ awareness and focus
