Manager - Marketing and Communications

What we want

We are in need of a Manager of Marketing and Communications to take our unit to new heights in showcasing our innovative college! We foresee this person will manage external communications for the university and will be responsible for overseeing communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, and other content initiatives. Job duties will also include:-

• Cultivating and managing relationships with media reps.

• Communicating with the media and other interested parties to maintain a positive image of Texas A&M University at Qatar.

• Producing media monitoring reports and recommending areas of improvement.

• Developing story ideas for Texas A&M at Qatar publications/website as well as story pitches to local/international media.

• Reviewing and editing written materials, preparing presentations, and communicating with employees.

• Creating messaging to communicate priorities and impacts for internal and external constituents, stakeholders, employees, etc.
