- Work jobs based on order of priority or as assigned by lead.
- Verify that prior operations have been completed per the work order. Review work order instructions for job information and the following operations (e.g., penetrant inspect, shot peen).
- Check parts for obvious defects and ensure quantity and part numbers are correct per work order.
- Work with area lead and/or quality focal to review nonconformance items and/or engineering dispositions to accomplish rework.
- Obtain and review appropriate drawings, specifications and any other necessary documents to perform the job. Use on-line information systems, as required.
- Obtain hand or air powered tools (e.g., files, jitterbug, router, sanders, carbide cutters) for the assigned job.
