Lifting Equipment Technician

MAIN PURPOSE: The main purpose of the “Lifting Equipment Technician” will be to inspect, complete final assembly and testing of all lifting, rigging and associated consumables via the workshop routing procedure.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Carry out general Workshop duties as instructed by Workshop Manager.

• Overhaul/strip down/re-build various mechanical & pneumatic items of lifting equipment in accordance with company/OEM and statutory regulations

• Take part in Tool Box talks to advance operational efficiency and safety improvement

• Assist others in despatch of lifting equipment (QA/QC Checks/Prepare eqpt for deliveries)

• Engage in and complete in-house competency modules in conjunction with plan & agreed via Workshop Manager

• Any & all other tasks as required & instructed by Workshop Manager
