We are looking for a Junior Trust & Safety Analyst to join our Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India. It is our duty to keep our customers safe and to foster trust in our product and services. We’d like to stimulate positive behavior of our partners and travelers, and work together with them to create a great traveler and partner experience. The Trust & Safety Team is part of Security, a dynamic, lean team requiring hands-on support in day to day Safety and Security - aspiring 24/7 - Operations

We are searching for a Junior Trust & Safety Analyst who will perform a crucial role in the front line defense of Booking.com in protection of their customers and partners. They will mitigate tier 3 level trust and safety threats related to safety conditions, with a focus on either human rights (discrimination, sexual or physical violence, human trafficking, etc.), or on safety conditions (e.g. hidden cameras, safety hazards, theft, etc.) by gathering information and facts, investigating possible trust and safety issues and reaching policy-based determinations for effective resolution.

• Mitigate immediate trust and safety threats by investigating possible safety incidents and/or perform incident response actions, including collaboration with other support groups within the wider organization;
• Comprehensively document investigations through written reports;
• Produce insightful and actionable reports;
• Maintain high levels of confidentiality while performing investigations;
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative investigations, and perform analysis to understand what happened and which mitigating measures are to be taken;
• Work closely with central teams (Tier 1 response, Tier 2 response, Tier 3 response, Operational Excellence and Quality);
• Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and processes, working closely with key business stakeholders;
• Contribute to projects on topics such as innovation, process improvement, operational efficiency, awareness etc;
• Communicate and collaborate with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders across the business such as Corporate Security, Operational Excellence, Commercial Operations, Legal, PR, Customer Service and Partner Services;
• Work effectively with team members and product teams by communicating trust and safety trends and sharing ideas and knowledge in a constructive and positive manner;
• Other job related duties as assigned.
