- Take responsibility for the issuance of local policies. Ensuring compliance with the instructions received from foreign Service Specialist and in accordance with internal and external guidelines, stipulated time frames and quality thresholds.
- Manage and resolve issues that arise during the insurance period that are related to local coverage requirements, policy issuance, premium payment, claims flow and program reporting.
- Recognize potential cross sell opportunities. Generate interest with intermediaries and customers, actively ensuring that interested parties are directed to the appropriate Underwriting teams.
- Acts as the local contact person for the customers and brokers in respect of services provided by the worldwide network. Work in close association with Service Specialists & Underwriters to deliver according to the customer expectations.
- Acts as a communication channel between the producing country and partner country, including partner relationship management and due diligence where applicable.
- Provides strong technical guidance and support relative to local Underwriting philosophy and strategy.
