Job Description

- Check the contractor site laboratory equipment and to ensure it is in proper working condition and calibrated
- Review contractor materials submissions
- Review contractor method statements
- Supervise on site materials sampling, testing and maintain record of results
- Supervise materials testing carried out on- and off-site and maintain a record of the results
- Report any failed test results immediately to the Senior Resident Engineer and Project Manager
- Coordinate approval for testing and identity problem areas in association with the supervision team
- Create and implement a procedure for conducting checks on material delivered to the project for conformance
