- Review and report on working practice and the environment to highlight potential risks and hazards.
- Work with others to improve safe working practice and the environment.
- Conduct training to increase staff understanding of the nature of risks and hazards.
- Assess the likelihood of occurrence and potential impact of risks.
- Put in place appropriate controls assurance systems to ensure that the impact of all risks is minimized.
- Provide evidence of reasoned advice and recommendations arising from inspections.
- Develop appropriate inspection schedules based on strategic and risk factors to ensure proper compliance with HSE systems and to minimize associated risks of violations.
