Full time

Work in Kuwait is contingent upon the applicants ability to obtain a work permit from the State of Kuwait which is requested on the applicants behalf by their employer. Effective January 1 2021 the Kuwait Public Authority of Manpower issued new work permit regulations informing contractors that it will not issue a work permit to any individual who is fiftynine (59) years or older and holds a high school grade certificate or less. A bachelors degree or higher is required for all candidates fiftynine (59) years or older. See Administrative Decision No. (520) of 2020 AD Amendment to the Administrative Decision No. (552) of 2018 on Issuing the Work Permit Regulations. Candidates with a current Visa 18 (residency visa) are excluded from the education requirement.

Purpose: Under the direction of the Housing Manager ensures that proper procedures are followed for property accountability and key control for Amentum Company provided apartments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for a wide variety of administrative coordination and managerial duties related to all aspects of furnished housing. This includes housing assignments; inbound/outbound housing requirements; coordinating facilities/furnishings and maintenance.

Assists in the daily operations organization and accountability control and housekeeping functions of the Housing office.

Receives and processes all work orders for company provided apartments.

Performs preoccupation checks and preclearing checks on all apartments ensuring apartments are up to the standards set by Amentum.

Prepares and prints out property hand receipts and keeps an updated list of all HR on file with renewal dates needed.

Maintains strict key control of all company provided apartments.

Escorts all maintenance workers to apartments to perform work orders.

Meets/greets new arrivals and escorts the new personnel to their apartments.

Must be available 24 hours a day for any emergencies that may arise.

Enforces standards for a secure environment for the protection of personnel property and information.

Conducts and/or oversees monthly HealthWelfare inspections on company provided apartments reports any illegal activities.

Will backfill as housing manager during absences.

Performs general routine custodial duties to include dusting mopping vacuuming cleaning restrooms and restocking paper and soap supplies.

Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Minimum Position Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience:
1 year or more of relevant hotel/supply experience required.

1 year or more of customer service experience required.

Specialized Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Must have the ability to interpret and implement Housing policies.

Must have advanced level of proficiency in the use of MS Office including Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook and other related applications.

Must have advanced written and oral communications skills in English.

Excellent customer service skills.

Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

Must have a positive cando attitude.

Must be able to juggle competing demands and prioritize work with a sense of urgency.

Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills including a professional demeanor.

Must be able to work independently with little supervision required.

Certification License & Clearance:
Valid drivers license required.

Tier 1 NACI required for all U.S. Citizens.

Facility credentials/authorization required: Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.

Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Work Environment Physical Demands & Mental Demands:
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.

Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

Must be able to endure long hours exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
