What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Organizes, prioritizes and routes staff based on occupancy, arrivals, departures and in order to have product guest ready at established check-in time.
- Communicates with heartist via radio to facilitate changes and modifications in work assignments and to fulfill guest needs
- Inputs unit readiness status in the lodging system and communicate with the front desk to update on status and special requests.
Requirements
Your experience and skills include:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
