Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities • Operates material handling heavy equipment as required to receive, store, process orders and ship material. • Operate light and heavy equipment for loading and unloading of pallets. • Assist shipping clerk in palletizing of supplies and equipment. • Assist shipping clerk in the processing of required documentation to include an inventory of equipment that will be shipped out. • Monitor and perform preventive measures to assigned equipment. • Performs other duties and assignments as required. Qualifications • Minimum Qualifications • Foreign National • A local driver’s license (Qatar) is required to operate heavy machinery • Obtain operator license for motorized pallet jack (walkie-rider) • Education/Experience: • High school diploma is required or equivalent. • Work requires two (2) years of shipping, receiving, stocking and warehousing experience or an equivalent combination of relevant education. Material Handling Equipment experience and training from a recognized institution. • Program Specific Requirements: • Possess knowledge of safety and environmental issues. • Prior military experience a plus but not mandatory. • Able to communicate with customer.
