Health & Safety Supervisor Health & Safety Supervisor is responsible to assist the HSE Manager running the day-to-day operation of the Health & Safety department ensuring that safe work practices are implemented / conducted in all areas of the waterpark. • Assist the HSE Manager with the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures and standards. • Outlines safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards. • Conducts regular site inspections to ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures. • Prepares and maintains inspection records and produces reports that suggest improvements. • Maintains incident records and produces statistics for management as required. • Investigates and reports on all personal injury accidents and damage to property occurring in the waterpark and document in an incident report. • Maintains a working knowledge of Health and Safety best practices and industry policy changes. • Produces health and safety related reports, newsletters and bulletins. • Advises on a range of specialist areas including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases. • Provides safety orientations and oversee the performance of all employees in order to ensure safe work practices are followed. • Initiates and organizes safety awareness campaigns, including occupational safety workshops and training sessions, in an effort to ensure that students and staff observe established safety guidelines and procedures. • Carries out regular safety and security inspections of various waterpark facilities, systems and equipment, including first-aid rooms, electrical systems, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants to ensure compliance with international standards. Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry (5* Hotel or resort). • High School diploma • 2 years of H&S experience preferably in waterpark park environment • Strong computer proficiency of Microsoft office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook • Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language • Ability to speak other languages such as Arabic will be an advantage
