- Take the lead of the Maintenance function in its entirety. Providing a reactive and proactive multi skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment the factory facilities
- Responsible for the planned maintenance of all machinery in a planned and structured manner ensuring minimum breakdowns and wear and tear of machinery and reduce downtime to increase and not effect daily output. Drive key performance indicators in the department including improvement plans
- Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to driving down any incidents regarding the machinery in Health & Safety. Create best practice technical abilities in your team whilst mentoring and leading the department. Promote continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies whilst recommending changes in training, working practices and processes
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance, vision, strategy, policies and processes to aid and improve operational performance
