Job Description
Education and training:
Have a high degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, environmental, or occupational safety and health.
Specific certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 may be beneficial.
Experience:
Previous work experience within the HSE field, and experience in leadership and supervision can be relevant.
Deep understanding of local and international laws and regulations related to health, safety and environment.
Technical skills:
Strong technical skills in risk assessment, HSE program implementation, and incident management.
Deep understanding of HSE management systems.
Leadership ability:
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve HSE goals.
Negotiation and influencing skills to improve the HSE culture in the organisation.
