Group Head of Corporate Services

A leading Bank in the region is looking to appoint a Group Head of Corporate Services based in Bahrain. Reporting to the Group COO, you will be responsible to lead the Group’s Corporate Services activities (covering Premises, Procurement, Facilities Management and Security across all countries/regions) and be fully accountable for the performance of the teams in each Branch. The role will include responsibility for developing the Group’s capability in the Corporate Services arena including driving the ESG agenda and improving all aspects of cost, controls and performance across the portfolio, ultimately bringing about a standard way of working across the Group in order to mitigate risk.

The role will be expected to work closely with CEOs and COOs along with other key stakeholders to ensure that initiatives are aligned to the Group’s strategic objectives and ESG agenda whilst managing risks to within the established Group risk appetite. Weekly contacts with Group COO, Heads of Premises and Engineering, Heads of Procurement / Vendor Management, and other Heads internally and externally as and when required to execute all Corporate Services activities.

Candidates must have at least 10-15 years of experience in Senior Director/similar roles managing or leading Corporate Services function at a Group level ideals for a large Bank/Corporate, with a proven track record in driving ESG initiatives and leading business process transformation. Must be well qualified with at least degree or Masters degree qualified ideally in Facilities Management, Engineering, building or general management qualification.
