Key Account Manager
Reporting to the MTM, KAM will lead Ambers sales efforts across Major Chain Stores. You will oversee the team to implement Amber off premise goals at over 60 outlets. Your main responsibilities will include: developing direct reports; managing account budgets and indicators while developing productive business relationships; and building joint business plans with senior leadership across retailers.
Responsibility
Strategic Planning
Challenge top important accounts to outpace growth; call on major small format retailers to use Ambers assets and promote difference from competitors
Influence retail accounts to follow recommended promotional schedules and associated pricing
Construct annual Customer Marketing Agreements, manage associated funds for accounts, evaluate Trade Investments and ensure account decision makers are "wired" with Amber personnel
Partner with distribution network to maximize in-store presence and consumer impact
Manage trade investment budgets and evaluate value to inform future spend
Allocate resources where the investment has the highest payback with important customers
Promote post-promotion analysis following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and in-store execution
Forecast volume and spend with consideration of prior year performance
Lead your team
Lead all direct reports consistent with Ambers standard
Guide account managers to develop programs and essential retail relationships
Coach and motivate direct reports for increased productivity through time in field, office, and meetings to implement Amber strategy

Develop business relationships with senior management across retail partners
Ensure all accounts decision makers carry a long-term focus on the energy segment with supporting tactics
Maximize the impact of Ambers support within chains by establishing deep ties between marketing and analytics departments
Customer Profitability Management
Lead our priorities, goals, and results as it relates to all account processes
Develop trainings and processes to ensure Customer Profitability Management becomes part of Amber culture
Seek for ways to improve and refine
3 years+ Sales and Key Account experience
Leadership capabilities to Mentor your team
In-depth knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry
Experience using all data sources (i.e. Sales Data)
Good planning, financial management, sales, and negotiation skills
Minimum HND/B.Sc degree
Proficiency in English language (Additional regional language is an advantage)
