Key Responsibilities: Corporate Governance Framework: • Support the implementation of a fit-for-purpose corporate governance framework, aligning with organizational strategies and guidelines. • Ensure a consistent "whole of organization" approach to governance, risk, and compliance at all levels. Risk-Based Approach: • Work collaboratively with the business to embed a risk-based approach to governance, fostering compliance with processes and procedures outlined in the company's Bylaws and key governing documents. Operational Governance: • Monitor and enhance operational governance through regular reviews, reporting to the Manager - Governance, Risk and Compliance. • Contribute to the coordination of regulatory and governance reporting, including annual reports, long-term strategy documents, monthly performance reports, and operational business plans. Advisory Role: • Provide advice on the Code of Corporate Governance and address significant or high-risk governance, risk, and compliance matters across the organization. Reporting and Progress Tracking: • Support the preparation of various reports, including the annual operational plan for governance, tracking associated key performance indicators. Collaboration: • Collaborate with other governance professionals to ensure the successful delivery of the "whole of organization" approach to governance. Skills Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Governance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. • Proven experience in corporate governance, risk, and compliance roles. • In-depth knowledge of governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. • Excellent understanding of risk-based approaches and compliance processes. • Strong analytical and reporting skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
