The purpose of this role is to direct and manage the implementation of the company training & development strategy and initiatives to develop and retain high-potential employees and build internal capability to meet current and future business needs. The candidate will be reporting to Project Management Admin Area HR Group, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Job Description:
  • Research and assist in the development of PM training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns.
  • Ensure that organization-wide talent management and PM initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.

  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development, resolve any specific problems, and tailor training programs as necessary.
  • Build and maintain a solid understanding of the organization s objectives and needs, helping create and deliver the annual training strategy.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing and assessing the effectiveness of a training and development policy and programs to enhance the overall skills, knowledge, engagement and career development of all employees
  • Works with Department Heads, Managers to develop and ensure On the Job Training and new hire training programs are implemented and successfully delivered.
  • Assist as requested, with team building exercises, retreats, meeting planning and facilitation to support improved individual and team performance.
  • Supports the Corporate Training and Development departments as required on the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement add hock trainings if required to meet the demands of the company and workforce.
  • Actively participate with training organizations and academic counsels related to hospitality.
  • Benchmark and document company best practices and translate into actionable performance processes which can be implemented company-wide.
  • Leads training needs analysis across the organization to identify priorities for training. Ensures delivery against these prioritized training needs, with fit-for-purpose and timely training.
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing development, resolve any specific problems, and tailor training programs as necessary.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Implementing training strategies that support the strategic goals of the business.
  • Plan ahead, sequencing company-level learning and performance activities within a 3- to-5-year timeframe.

Requirements

Selection Criteria:
  • At least Nine years of HR training & Development experience required in Global & International Companies
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  • Project Management Skills: Manage, lead and participate in the development, deployment, and execution of a workforce development strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills to interrogate data, diagnose issues, and arrives at well-reasoned conclusions.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Self-development capabilities and eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize, organizes, and assess workload in order to meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a good ability to build relations with employees and vendors
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Self-starter who excels in ambiguous situations and enjoys shaping strategy & processes.
  • Must have well-developed facilitation and presentation skills to all levels of an organization.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field required.
Other Certifications/Credentials:
  • HR Professional Certificate such as CIPD - SHRM
