- Perform a variety of tasks in production assembly operations on mechanical assembly and sub-assemblies, Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, fit up, and welding operations of structures, Use measuring tools and instruments, as provided and appropriate, to assure accuracy in dimensions of work in process, Read and comply with Work Instruction Process Sheets and Blueprints, Use basic hand and air tools such as drill, grinder, cutting wheels, wrench, and clamps, Perform other duties as required. The Experience You Will Bring Requirements: Proven experience as Assembler/welder, Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.), Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings in English, Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.), Deftness and attention to detail, Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions, Welding certificate and good knowledge of different types of metal and their properties is essential.
