Core Responsibilities:
This position includes but does not limit to the following:

Contribute tostrategic planninganddecision makingat theexecutivelevel to develop and implement afinancial strategy.

Overseeing allaccountingfunctions and preparingreportsin compliance with appropriate legal requirements.
.
Supervision of the legal structuringand due diligence surroundingreal estate acquisitionsas well as the negotiation of their financing.
.
Oversee the accounting operations of ourforeign investment vehicles, their control systems, transaction-processing operations etc.
.
Establish and maintain positiverelationshipswith banks, Investment Analysts and other financial institutions.
.
Contribute to thedevelopment of strategiesto obtain optimal insurance coverage for the organization's assets and liabilities.
.
Evaluate proposed business activities and transactions such as acquisitions, investments,capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers or sale of assets to ensure they are financially viable.
.
Overseebudgets,forecasts,cash flow, capital assets projects, periodic financial statements and other management reports.
.
Responsible for finalization of the group consolidated financials in line withGAAP,statutory audit, management of audit plan, coordination with auditors, quarter end and year end procedures,IFRSissues and group reporting forms.
.
Financial analysisanddue diligenceof projects and investments as well as development of business plans for the financial year.
.
Dealing with internal and externalpartiesfor local and international investments.
.
Overseeing all tax and regulatorycompliancefor local and international entities.
.
Timelycommunicationof key financial information to Owners/BOD on a regular basis.
.
Creating and applyingpolicies and proceduresto enhance operations andfiscal controlswithin the accounts and finance department.
.
Anyother taskthat may be assigned by the Board of Directors and/or the CEO as appropriate.

Monitor the progress of the function and evaluate junior staff achievements.

Contribute to Finance Department staff development activities through team development, setting Key Performance Indicators and driving motivation.
.
Participate in the feasibility/business development opportunities to ensure that the financials are sound, and the risks are addressed.
