Job Description

- Oversee Finance department operations and its subsidiaries
- Developing financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
- High-level financial reporting and analysis
- Produce the annual budget and predict budget forecasts, regular budget consolidation
- Cash flow management
- Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
- Stakeholder management
- Create an organizational structure within the accounting department to facilitate the achievement of the department's short-term goals and long-term objectives
- Supervise transaction-processing operations
- Oversee any outsourced accounting functions
- Maintain an organized and orderly filing system of all accounting documents
- Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
- Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
- Maintain a comprehensive system of accounting records
- Maintain an adequate system of budgets and controls created to mitigate risk
- Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goals
- Analyze capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions
- Comply with all local, state, and federal tax filings and reporting requirements
- Complete periodic bank reconciliations
