Environmental Engineer

The Financial Accountant position reviews the financial transactions, performs reconciliations versus both internal and external documents and creates financial reports from that information to

• Ensure that inventory and budgetary adjustments are correctly reflected during journal approval
  
• Create outstanding POs at month end and investigate any errors to ensure appropriate action is
  
• Review the allocations in the GL to ensure all allocations are appropriate and
  
• Maintain fixed asset register on internal system and add all assets acquired as
  
• Run depreciation on a monthly
  
• Draft dashboard reporting based on results and draft cash flow analysiss as per Treasury
  
• Draft the monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts according to
  
• Verify stock counts with the relevant stock controller and ensure that the count reflects correctly on all internal
  
• Assist in the audit process and in the preparations of returns, including
  
• Cross-check and release creditors
  
• Review and authorise adjustments as
  
• Identify when provisions and accruals are required in the normal business flow and provide supporting
  
• Review debtors age analysis in conjunction with global finance team and escalate if
  
• Ensure that finance records are kept as per company
  
• Ensure that transactions with foreign currency are handled appropriately and are accounted for as per company
  
• Evaluate foreign balances (GL, AP & AR), to ensure that timeous corrections can be made when it is not done correctly by the automated ;
  
• Support the business function with queries and requests ensuring that these are within the company s policies and procedures as well as regulatory Evaluating the impact on the accounting
  
• Accurate and timeous reporting as per company
  

Requirements

• National Diploma in Finance/ B Com Accounting
  
• Netsuite / ERP knowledge an advantage
  
• Minimum 3 - 4 years of work experience in a similar role
  

• Computer literacy: MS Office (with advanced Excel skills)
  
• Excellent command of Language and Email
