What You'll Do
- Responsible for leading the full design & engineering of Tesla facilities from concept to production launch
- Gather and develop a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements and develop Engineering project plans and secure leadership alignment
- Defines & effectively communicates factory design scope & prioritization for factory engineering team as well as drives formation of internal and external engineering team and manages 3rd party consultant contracts and budget
- Scope & implement innovative engineering and design strategies to support aggressive program objectives
- Own execution of high-quality engineering deliverables needed for procurement, costing, permitting, and construction activities
