- Monitors the fire alarm system equipment.
- Answers 911 and non-emergency phones calls via land, VoIP, whatsapp or cell phone and processes, prioritizes, and dispatches appropriate response units as needed.
- Receives alarms, alerts and dispatches firefighting and/or medical crew.
- Records data and updated relative databases and/or reports in the CAD system and the Emergency Reporting System.
- Receives and relays pertinent communication in CAD.
- Provides recommendations on how to ensure the call center functions more effectively and efficiently.
