Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Oversee contractor activities during the Project, which includes all aspects of Onshore and offshore Electrical System Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities in Qatar to ensure flawless handover process of project from construction to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning and Start-Up by ensuring the facility and all its components are built and installed according to the design, intent and function as agreed in project specifications.

Key Accountabilities:

• Subject Matter Expert for all Electrical related activities at site, including PMS, PDCS, ELICS systems for multi project /multi discipline commissioning team.
• Attend (Witness/Hold) all site related Electrical activities and walkdowns.
• Ensure technical interface with site project team (PMT, Contractor, OES)
• Review Contractor planning and scheduling activities for Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning to ensure coordination with other aspects of work.
• Monitor Contractor performance and provide advice as necessary to ensure design goals, philosophies and specifications are achieved.
• Review all documentation relates to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning.
• Participate at site to ensure safe execution of Systems Completion activities and provide guidance on Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Turnover of equipment and systems as required.
• Develop and manage effective work packs, tools, commissioning plans to ensure a smooth and safe hand-over to permanent organisation.
• Lead and manage clear communication and reporting lines for all matters pertaining to commissioning for NFPS Offshore Project and ensure compliance with Company's Project Management (QGPM) requirements.
• Coordinate and share lessons learned from previous projects and maintain a register of current lessons learned for use in future projects within the Company.
