- This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.
- Lead dispatcher is in control of dispatch operations and makes difficult decisions in the absence of supervisor or judgment.
- Maintains data required for reports, such as mileage, passengers transported, and accidents.
- Directs vehicle operations as necessary to accomplish any valid requirement.
- Utilizes the Global Combat Support System (GCSS) or manual means to dispatch and coordinate vehicles; maintain proper use of the Department of the Army forms.
- Coordinates all dispatch operations for Government Owned vehicles and/or Leased Vehicles.
- Ensures that the proper Department of the Army forms/reports are closed out when vehicles or equipment is turned in (make sure customer follows turn in procedures).
- Refers to the computer database that vehicles are within the period of performance on the existing contract.
- Ensures that the vehicle operator is properly licensed and has valid tasking.
- Provides the customer necessary documents and direction for performing the PMCS. Gather all documents and information for a recovery of TMP/CLVB assets.
- Performs Other duties as assigned
