- Oversees the financial services operations, including accounting, purchasing and payables, student financial services, and bookstore
- Provides oversight of the preparation of required and appropriate financial records and reports and year-end financial statements
- Establishes and enforces policies, practices, controls, and guidelines for managing and safeguarding of the university’s assets
- Manage the annual and 5-year budget process, including preparation of the budget, monitoring and reporting on actual results against budget and year-end projection
- Manages the year-end financial statements audit and works closely with the external auditor as well as internal auditor as appropriate
