Design Engineer for Scaffolding and Formworks

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (must be licensed)

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience – (Scaffolding and Formworks with a service certificate)

Duties and responsibilities:

.

Knowledgeable of British Standard or International Standards for Scaffolding and Formworks.

.

Knowledgeable in providing scaffolding design calculations as per the standard parameters, code of practice, and other related standards.

.

Knowledgeable of engineering estimates for the preparation of bill of quantity take-offs using engineering measurements.

.

Proficient user of AutoCAD drafting software to prepare detailed scaffolding design drawings.

.

Checking inquiries and verifying the requirements from salespeople.

.

Able to study the construction drawings, structural and architectural, specifications, and general notes.

.

Able to lead a team of scaffolding supervisors and workers for site projects.

.

Must have Scaffolding Inspector certification for inspection of erected scaffolding at the site.

.

Conduct site Inspection of ongoing projects with proper coordination with the clients.

.

Attend the technical meeting whenever needed.

.

Reporting to the scaffolding manager what the committed projects are in and outgoing.

.

Maintain all documents and files for the respective projects.

Location: Bahrain - Askar industrial area
