The position:
As Deputy SCM Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance for the company’s growing fleet in Malta. Responsibilities:
- Act as Company representative with Civil Aviation Authorities and other client organizations on Safety, Compliance, Audits, and Inspection matters.
- Develop, establish, and manage the Safety Management System
- Develop and update the Emergency response Plan and procedures, organize and participate in actual or practice emergency responses.
- Ensure initiation and follow-up of internal occurrence/accident investigations.
- Facilitate hazard identification, safety risk analysis and management.
- Plan and facilitate staff training (AOC, CAMO, ATO) according to applicable standards
- Coordinate Management of Change analyses and Risk Assurance.
- Establish a compliance monitoring system that complies with all relevant aviation regulations and directives and oversee all audits and inspections performed by compliance auditors.
Requirements:
- Open to relocate to Malta
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation-related environments with experience in safety and compliance monitoring and auditing.
- Formal auditor training for AOC, CAMO, and ATO certificates.
- Expertise in CAMO area and SMS, with working knowledge of applicable regulations, including ICAO standards and European requirements.
- Familiarity with Management system software (centric, IQSMS, FDM GE)
- Recognized industry training in the following areas:
o Safety Management Systems
o Evidence to have expertise in CAMO area (SMS)
o Root Cause Analysis
o Safety Investigation
o Human Factor in aviation
o FDM
o Emergency Response Plan
o EASA regulation BR 2018/1139, 965/2012/1178//2014
o ICAO regulation
