Analyzes project cost variances and develops reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Collaborates with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets, and guide them accordingly.
Conducts cost-benefit analyses to determine the financial viability and/or impacts of projects.
Leads the monitoring of the project progress and identifies potential cost overruns or delays.
Manages a team of cost control professionals and provides guidance and support as needed.
Ensures total compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Conducts regular audits of project costs to identify any discrepancies or errors.
Works with other departments and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and reduce
waste.
Provides training and support to staff on cost control best practices and procedures.
