Job Description

- Assist with the preparation of the food and drink menus
- Make sure that all products that leave the kitchen meet taste and design standards. Taste test products is a requirement on all products before the product hits the service line
- Follows the approved recipes for menu items
- Supports the COOK III in making the kitchen operates efficiently, effectively, and professionally, in accordance with our high quality standards
- Informs COOK III immediately if issues arise to quickly resolve the issues or problems in the kitchen
- Maintain stockage level of kitchen inventory and supplies
- Clean as you go
- Uses appropriate classical cuts to produce salads IAW recipe cards
- Uses safe knife handling skills
- Uses approved cutting glove to operate knives
- Prepare all products IAW updated (government) recipe cards. Use proper measuring devices or approved alternatives
- Confirm compliance with all sanitation and health and safety standards
- Fill in for the COOK III when necessary
- Completes any other tasks the Shift lead directs
